Queery is a radical queer book club that uses fiction, non-fiction, and poetry as a lens to examine queer theory, social structures, identity, and privilege.

We don’t stick exclusively to the traditional queer canon, though. We discuss texts that are not viewed as LGBTQ in addition to pieces that we see as foundations of modern inclusive pedagogy. We read one book a month with rotating discussion leaders.

The folks behind Queery aim for this meet-up to be a crucible of conversation, debate, and activation.

This goes without saying, but we will anyway. Queery is holistically welcoming as long as you are — TERF, xenophobic, etc., this isn’t for you.
